Distinguished Staff Awards 

Each fall, St. Paul’s proudly honors exceptional team members through the Distinguished Staff Awards — a celebration of those who make a lasting impact on the lives of our residents. These awards are made possible thanks to generous support from the Bingham and Shaffer families

Award Categories

Newcomer Award

Recognizes a staff member who has made a meaningful impact in their first two years at St. Paul’s. Open to all departments.

Leader Award

Honors a team member with at least one year of service who demonstrates strong leadership and serves as a role model to others.

Extra Effort Award

Celebrates a staff member who consistently exceeds expectations, going beyond their job description to improve the lives of residents. Must have at least one year of service.

Dining Staff Award

Recognizes outstanding service by a dining team member who works exclusively in The Villas, Heritage, or Ridgewood. Must have at least one year of service.

Guidelines

  • Nominations are welcome from residents, family members, and staff.
  • Each person may submit one nomination per category.
  • Staff may only receive one award per year.
  • Eligible staff can be full-time, part-time, or per diem.
  • No award will be given in categories without nominations.
  • Nominees must not have received any disciplinary action within the past six months.
