St. Paul’s proudly honors exceptional team members through the Distinguished Staff Awards — a celebration of those who make a lasting impact on the lives of our residents. These awards are made possible thanks to generous support from the Bingham and Shaffer families
Award Categories
Newcomer Award
Recognizes a staff member who has made a meaningful impact in their first two years at St. Paul’s. Open to all departments.
Leader Award
Honors a team member with at least one year of service who demonstrates strong leadership and serves as a role model to others.
Embodiment of Core Values Award
Celebrates a staff member who consistently exemplifies St. Paul's core values of Compassion, Person-Centered Care, Respect, and Security through their daily actions and interactions with residents, families, coworkers, and visitors.
Dining Staff Award
Recognizes outstanding service by a dining team member who works exclusively in The Villas, Heritage, or Ridgewood. Must have at least one year of service.
Guidelines
- Nominations can come from residents, staff or family members
- No staff member can receive more than one award in a given year.
- Individuals may only nominate one staff member for each award category.
- Staff can work full-time, part-time, or per diem.
- If there are no nominations in a particular category, no award will be presented.
- Nominees should demonstrate a positive work record. Employees who have received disciplinary action within the past six months may be disqualified, and attendance history will also be considered as part of the eligibility review.
