Smoking Policy

St. Paul’s maintains a smoke-free environment for the health, safety, and comfort of our residents, employees, and visitors.

  • Smoking is not permitted anywhere inside the facilities or in non-designated areas adjacent to the buildings, including foyers, loading docks, stock rooms, doorways, sidewalks, entrances, restrooms, and offices.
  • Employees may only smoke inside their personal vehicles while on campus.
  • Employees who do not drive to work must make appropriate arrangements with a co-worker to utilize that co-worker’s vehicle if they wish to smoke.
  • Smoking is prohibited in all company-owned vehicles.
  • Prospective residents and their families shall be informed of this policy in advance of admission. All new employees are informed of this policy during general orientation.
  • Resources and support are available for employees or residents who are motivated to quit smoking. Employees can obtain this information from the Human Resource Department. Residents may seek information through the Social Service Office.
