Ron Ashbaugh, Fitness Coordinator

The Villas

“St. Paul’s has provided me with a supportive and caring environment where I have been able to touch the lives of more people than I could have ever imagined. It is a place where my skill set has met a need and gifted to me a rewarding career where I have the chance to make a positive impact on the lives of our residents, staff and community. I can only hope to give as much back to St. Paul’s as they have given to me. ”

Ronda D'Urso, Receptionist

The Villas

“I can still remember the day I walked in for my interview—little did I know, almost 39 years later I would still be part of this wonderful family. I started in the housekeeping department and then moved into dietary. In 2006, I was offered the position of receptionist at The Villas—where I remain today. I often joke that I could write a book about the lives and times here…the changes have been amazing! We have been blessed with families and communities that support us and administrators who prove every day that the people who live here come first and foremost. I can only hope this never changes—after all, someday this may be my home.”

Melissa Villard, Assistant Director of Colony Living

The Colony

“I have the distinct privilege of walking new independent-living residents through the process of preparing their new home, so that when move-in day comes, they feel comfortable and truly 'at home'. I also assist current residents in making sure their life here is full of living, not concerns about home maintenance and upkeep or future care. I am blessed everyday feeling like I am part of something I truly believe in and that what I do makes a difference. ”

Brenda Hawk

The Ridgewood

“I have worked at St. Paul's since June 2006. I was a Universal Worker at The Heritage for three years and then moved up to The Ridgewood as a Personal Care Attendant. I have passion for my job. I enjoy caring for our residents–they are like family to me. I enjoy my co-workers, who are also like family to me. We all work together to get the job done!”

Robyn Weaver, Executive Assistant to President & CEO

The Heritage

“I never feel like I’m 'going to work'. Every day I laugh. I feel needed and appreciated. Staff, residents and resident’s family members develop the kind of relationships that you have in your own family. We celebrate together, provide support for each other, and sometimes we mourn together. This is a very special place and all who enter become part of our family. That, to me, is an amazing thing and I am truly blessed to be a part of it.”
