2026 Good Samaritan Month

Website header

Dear Friend,

This year, we are excited to bring two traditions together at St. Paul's! Our annual Good Samaritan Appeal and PA OH Gives Giving Week are joining to create Good Samaritan Month — a month-long effort in June to raise awareness and support for this important ministry.

The Good Samaritan Fund helps ensure that residents who outlive their savings can continue to receive the compassionate, quality care they need and deserve. Today, that's more than half of the residents in skilled nursing, and 5% in personal care.

Your generous support will provide more than just quality care. You will bring comfort, dignity, peace of mind, and moments of joy that will brighten someone’s life.

Donate during Good Samaritan Month and “be the reason someone smiles today” at St. Paul’s.

Ways You Could Help

You can donate directly to the Good Samaritan Fund any time of the year. You will be helping residents in need who are living at St. Paul's right now.

Donate through the Community Foundation of Western PA & Eastern OH during June 20-26 to qualify for FREE matching funds and increase the impact of your gift.

As a special thank you, anyone who sets up a new recurring monthly gift to the Good Samaritan Fund in June will receive a St. Paul's fleece blanket while supplies last.

Enter for your chance to win a new Polaris Ranger side-by-side or $12,000 in cash!

"My mother was so loved by the staff at St Paul's. I continue to donate to the Good Samaritan Fund so that others can experience the warmth and connection my mother did." “I continue to support the Good Samaritan Appeal at St. Paul’s because my mom lived there for almost five years and she had very good care and was happy living there.” “The care, love and support given to my Dad by the staff at St. Paul’s was truly exceptional. To give a donation to help the Good Samaritan Fund is my honor — my Dad would want me to do that!”
- Kathy Love - Alice Grasso - Angela Palumbo

If you or a loved one has been positively impacted by St. Paul’s, please consider joining these family members in giving back.

You never know whose smile your kindness may help protect. It might be your loved one, your friend, your favorite teacher, the coach who always believed in you, or the neighbor who always watched out for you. It could be any of us.

Thank you for being the reason someone smiles today at St. Paul's!

With appreciation,
