Wednesday, October 1 - Blessing of the Animals
Chaplain Pat will hold the Blessing of the Animals service at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. on the Bistro Patio.
Wednesday, October 1 - Colony Birthday Celebration
Join us to celebrate Colony October Birthdays at 1 p.m. in The 19th Hole. All residents are welcome. Sign up online by NOON on Friday, September 26.
Thursday, October 2 - Potluck Lunch
Gather with your neighbors at noon for a potluck lunch in The 19th Hole. Two kinds of sliders, drinks and paper products will be provided. Please sign up to bring a dish to share. Residents 90 years and older are not asked to prepare a dish. The cost per person is $3 and will go on your monthly bill. Sign ups have closed for this activity.
Friday, October 3 - Coffee & Donuts
Stop in The Gathering Place between 9 and 11 a.m. for coffee and donuts.
Monday, October 6 - Men & Women's Chat Groups
Join each other at Men and Women’s Chat at 10 a.m. The men will meet in The Gathering Place and women will meet in The Library. Sign up online by NOON on Friday, October 3.
Monday, October 6 - Boos & Bingo
Friendships and socialization are very important to keep your mind active and healthy. Join us at 4 p.m. on Monday, October 6, for Boos & Bingo in The 19th Hole. Participants are asked to bring a snack to share to the fun Happy Hour activity. Paper products and drinks will be provided. This is a social Bingo game, not your typical Bingo. Sign up online by online by NOON on Saturday, October 4.
Tuesday, October 7 - Campus Scavenger Hunt
Laughter and joy are some of the best medicine. Sign up online by NOON on Friday, October 3 to participate in a resident and staff campus scavenger hunt. Participants will report to The 19th Hole at by 10:15 a.m. on Tuesday, October 7.
Wednesday, October 8 - Cleveland Holden Arboretum
Adventure and stimulation keep you young at heart. The bus will begin picking up at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, October 8 for a trip to Cleveland Arboretum. The $12.21 per person transportation fee and the $21 per person admission fee will go on your monthly bill. You are responsible for any purchases that you make. The bus will return to campus around 3:30 p.m. Sign up online by NOON on Saturday, October 4.
Thursday, October 9 - Make a Difference Day
Making a difference for other people helps give us a sense of purpose and direction. Set a goal today (Thursday, October 9) to make a difference in someone’s life. Some options would be volunteer your time, pick up trash, plant flowers, take time to visit with someone who needs a friend or simply share a smile with someone who looks like they need it.
Friday, October 10 - Education & Knowledge
Education and Knowledge are something we are never too old for. Join us on Friday, October 10 at 10 a.m. in The 19th Hole for some brief presentations on St. Paul’s at Home Care Program, Phishing Scams & Fraud, and Nutrition Tips for Aging Adults. Each presentation will be presented by a St. Paul’s specialist. Sign up online by NOON on Saturday, October 4.
